Naming our baby boy Cesc?

I kind of asked this question last night, but deleted it because it didn't sound exactly the way I wanted it to sound.
Let me preface by saying that my husband is Spanish (I'm French), and as I mentioned last night he wants to name our son Cesc after his favorite soccer player Francesc "Cesc" Fábregas. We were planning on using a Spanish/Catalan baby name either way, and I do not mind naming our son after a soccer player. Francesc (fran-SESK) is Catalan for Francis. His full name would be Francesc Tomás. We would call the baby Cesc (SESK). But my question is, do you like Cesc?

Suggestion:

I adore it! Cesc Fábregas is a brilliant football player and Francesc works as a first name wonderfully.

Francesc Tomás sound like a beautiful combo. I've always had a thing for Spanish/Catalan boy names and thanks to Cesc I've fallen in love with his name.
